Soyabean prices looked down by Rs 29 to Rs 3,734 per quintal in futures trading today as participants were shrinking belts on the back of weak overseas markets sentiment.
Marketmen said fall in its prices at international markets mainly discouraged traders.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soyabean delivery for April slipped by Rs 29, or 0.77 per cent, to Rs 3,734 per quintal, having an open interest of 30,630 lots.
The most active first delivery in March also slided by Rs 28, or 0.75 per cent, to Rs 3,686 per quintal, with an open interest of 84,330 lots.
