In restricted activity, soyabean refined oil prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal in lacklustre trade at the wholesale oil and oilseed market today on some buying by retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said scattered demand from retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing regions mainly led to rise in soyabean oil prices.
In the national capital, soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils were enquired higher by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,500 and Rs 6,200 per quintal respectively.
