Soybean prices drifted by Rs 68 to Rs 3,900 per quintal in futures trading today as participants trimmed their positions, tracking weak global cues.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean for delivery in far-month July contracts eased by Rs 68, or 1.71 per cent to Rs 3,900 per quintal, having an open interest of 120 lots.
Also, delivery in most-activity, March contracts declined by Rs 4, or 0.11 per cent to Rs 3,735 per quintal and open interest stood of 85,470 lots.

Marketmen said the fall in soyabean futures was mostly due to offloading of positions by speculators amid a weak trend overseas.
Moreover, falling demand against pick up in supplies too kept pressure on prices, they added.
