SP workers protest over refusal of ticket to former minister

A section of Samajwadi Party workers protested the party's decision to field a new candidate, Dipti Pal, from Purqazi assembly constituency in place of former minister and sitting MLA Uma Kiran.

The workers burnt the effigy of the candidate and also raised slogans against the party high command at Purqazi town in the district yesterday.
