Spain military plane crashes after national day parade:

A Spanish military plane crashed today after taking part in a parade in Madrid for Spain's national day, the defence ministry said.

"I can confirm a plane has crashed," a ministry spokeswoman said, with local media reporting the aircraft went down near a military base at Albacete, 300 kilometres southeast of the capital.
