Two students were killed and another was injured when they were hit by a speeding vehicle while returning home after appearing in their Board exams, near Jajampatti village under Magorra police station here today, police said.
"The accident occurred when the three students of Class 10 were hit at the outskirts of the village by a speeding canter travelling from Karnataka to Uttaranchal," police said.
"The students were waiting for some transport after appearing in the drawing exam paper of Uttar Pradesh Board," they said.

The students have been identified as Jagvir (18), Rajesh (19) and Suresh, all from Aduki village under Magorra police station.
While Jagvir died on the spot, Rajesh succumbed to his injuries on way to a hospital in Agra. Suresh is under treatment at a private hospital.
The driver of the canter, carrying an insecticide, has been identified as Dhan Raj Singh of Thane in Mumbai. He has been arrested and the vehicle seized, police said.
