Low fare airline, SpiceJet will introduce international flight to Kathmandu from Bagdogra airport in West Bengal from August 13.
Announcing this, the company today said the flight would operate thrice times a week.
"With the introduction of this flight, Spicejet will become the first Indian airline to operate internationally from Bagdogra. This new three times weekly Kathmandu flight is in addition to the 11 weekly direct flights Spicejet already operates on Delhi-Kathmandu route," Spicejet said in a statement.

The airline is also offering an introductory promotional fare starting from Rs 99 plus statutory taxes and fees for Bagdogra - Kathmandu flight.
The offer will be given for the first 1,000 seats sold on a first come-first served basis, the airlines said.
Fares from Kolkata to Kathmandu via Bagdogra start at Rs 4,289 plus statutory taxes and fees, it added.
