A Special Police Officer (SPO) was crushed to death by a train in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir today.
SPO Sardari Lal slipped on railway track and came under Swaraj Express at Channi area under jurisdiction of Rajbagh Police Station in Kathua today, a police officer said.
Lal was crushed to death on the spot.
Lal's body was later recovered, and handed over to his family after post mortem, the officer said.
