The trailer of the much-anticipated revival episodes of "The X-Files" has been unveiled.
Mulder and Scully's (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) iconic nemesis The Smoking Man was thought to be dead at the end of the original series' nine seasons. But William B David's Smoking Man is back and seems spookier than ever, reported Digital Spy.
His hand made an appearance in an earlier trailer, but this teaser - which also features footage from past promo clips - sees the side of The Smoking Man's face in a room with a roaring fireplace.
"We have a small problem," he admits to an unknown associate. "They've reopened the X-Files."
"The X-Files" premieres its revival series on January 24 on Fox.
