Special Public Prosecutor Avinash Rasal, who had threatened to quit after the filing of the chargesheet in the Malegaon blasts case today, later retracted saying the issue has been resolved with the NIA.
He had earlier in the day expressed dismay over the fact that the chargesheet was filed just days after the NIA gad asked him to move an application in the court to inform that it will be filed by the end of this month.
He said the issue was later resolved after NIA requested him to continue in the case.

"They have expressed apology and considering their request I have decided not to resign for the moment," Rasal told PTI.
Earlier in the afternoon, while talking to PTI, Rasal said that he was not informed about the filing of the chargesheet till NIA prosecutor filed it.
Advocate Geeta Godambe, who is a NIA prosecutor, appeared in the court and filed the chargesheet on the agency's behalf. Rasal had then said that he was upset and may resign.
"Godambe does not attend the court. While she is supposed to assist me, I am sometimes doing the job of junior prosecutor," Rasal told PTI. Godambe could not be reached for comments.
Rasal added that he has written a 15-page letter to IG-NIA, expressing his displeasure that nobody helps him in the court.
