: The Sree Krishna Jayanthi and Sree Krishna Leelotsava celebrations would be held at Udupi Sree Krishna Paryaya Mutt from September 11, Paryaya Kaniyur Mutt seer Vidyavallbhatheertha Swamiji said here today.
The celebrations would be inaugurted by Krishnpaur Mutt seer Vidyasagaratheertha Swamiji. Udupi-Chikmagalur MP Shobha Krandlaje would be present on the occasion, he said in a statement here.
Several cultural programmes and competitions would be held as part of the week long celebrations.
A two day State-level photography contest would be held from September 16 to 17.
Shimoga MP, B S Yeddyurappa would be the guest at the valedictory ceremony on September 19. Shiroor Mutt seer Laxmivaratheertha Swamiji would deliver the spiritual blessings on the occasion.
