State-level Republic Day function at Patiala

The state-level Republic Day function in Punjab would be held at Patiala district where Punjab Governor Shivraj V Patil would unfurl the national flag and take the salute on January 26.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal would hoist the national flag at Ludhiana while Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal would unfurl flag at Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) on January 26, said an official release here.

Punjab Assembly Speaker Charnjit Singh Atwal would unfurl the tricolour at Fatehgarh Sahib, it said.
