Steel markets remain quiet on subdued demand

Quiet conditions persisted at the local steel market in the national capital today as prices by and large moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.

Traders said negligible enquiries from construction units against adequate stocks position mainly kept steel prices unchanged.

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 55,000, 10-mm Rs 54,400, 12-mm Rs 53,200, 16-25 mm Rs 53,200.
