Steps to retrieve encroached children's park land,

A plot of 40 cents in the heart of the city, allotted for a children's park, was found encroached allegedly by a private society, which had illegally constructed a community hall.

Corporation commissioner, S Ganesh, along with some officials visited the spot today after noticing the encroachment by Peelamedu Bharati Colony House owners welfare society.

The land was measured and steps were being taken to retrieve it, an official release said here.
