Stray dogs kill 2 spotted deer

Two spotted deer were killed by some stray dogs near Perundurai, forest department officials said today.

A two-year-old doe was killed by the dogs yesterday morning while a stag was found dead with bleeding injuries in the evening at at Madathupalayam village near Perundurai.

The carcasses were buried later, the officials said.
