A Class XII student allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisonafter failing in his board exams at Rai village in the district, police said.
Nitin (21) committed suicide yesterday under Chapar Police Station area as he was reportedly depressed after failing in his exams, they said.
In another incident, a 14-year-old girl attempted to kill herself by consuming poison due to some family dispute at Goharni village in Shamli district yesterday, they said, adding, she was rushed to a hospital in a serious condition.
