Student feared drowned in canal

A 15-year-old boy today feared to have been washed away in a Ganga canal here when he was taking bath in it, police said.

Piyush Gupta, a class XI student of Shishu Niketan Inter College, feared to have drowned in the canal when he went for a bath along with his two class mates, they said.

Meanwhile, the duo were rescued by locals, there is no trace of Piyush yet, police said.

A search is on to rescue him.
