Students hold rally on 'World Water Day'

: Agriculture and Education Minister R Kamalakannanflagged off a rally by students of various educational institutions to highlight the celebration of 'World Water Day' today.

Placards focusing on the importance and conservation of water were carried by the participants who passed through important thoroughfares before reaching the beach road.

Special programmes were held to highlight the importance of conservation of water for posterity and also for development of agriculture.
