Students protest, block road after accident

Students of a college here protested and blocked the road leading to it after two of their colleagues were injured when the scooter they were riding was hit by a bus of another college, police said.

Two girl students of BSA college were injured in the accident following which angry students blocked the road leading to the college for a brief period, S P (City) Mukul Dwivedi said.

The blockade was lifted as the head of another college -- a former minister -- reached out to them for a compromise, Dwivedi said.
