Sugar closes quiet on restricted buying

Quiet conditions persisted at the wholesale sugar market in national capital today as prices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile moving factors.

Marketmen said small buying support along with adequate stocks position held sweetener prices around overnight levels.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 38.00-40.00 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 (Rs 34.20-35.00); S-30(Rs 34.10-35.80).

Mill delivery: M-30 (Rs 32.60-33.50); S-30 (Rs 32.40-33.50).
