Sugar maintains mixed trend

Both the varieties of sugar continued to maintained mixed trend at the Vashi wholesale market here today following alternate bouts of buying and selling.

Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 3,620/3,700 from Tuesday's close Rs 3,616/3,702.

Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,680/3,922 as compared to Rs 3,652/3,925 yesterday.

Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,620/3,700 (Rs 3,616/3,702).

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,680/3,922 (Rs 3,652/3,925).
