Sugar mill employee murdered

A 50-year-old sugar mill employee was killed by unidentified assailants near the residence of a Superintendent of Police here, police said today.

Ram Dheeraj, an employee of Balrampur sugar mill, was attacked and his throat slit when he was returning home from duty late last night, they said.

SP Sonia Singh, near whose house the crime took place, said two persons have been detained in this connection.
