Sugar prices close quiet on small buying

The wholesale sugar market depicted a steady trend in the national capital today with prices after moving in a tight range settling flat.

Marketmen said small buying by stockist and bulk consumers amid sufficient stocks managed to keep sugar prices at overnight levels.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 35-40 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,400-3,550, S-30 Rs 3,390-3,540.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,200-3,380, S-30 Rs 3,190-3,370.
