Prices of both varieties of sugar maintained a downtrend at the Vashi wholesale sugar market here today due to lack of demand from stockist and retailers amidst ample supplies.
Medium sugar (M-30) shed by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 3,152/3,371 from Monday's closing level of Rs 3,152/3,381.
Small sugar (S-30) also looked down by a similar margin to Rs 3,082/3,160 per quintal as compared to Rs 3,082/3,170 yesterday.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,082/3,160 (Rs 3,082/3,170.
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,152/3,371 (Rs 3,152/3,381).
