Sugar remains stable in listless trade

Prices of both varieties of sugar held steady in an otherwise listless Vashi wholesale market here today in the absence of any worthwhile buying activities.

Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,636/3,720 (Rs 3,636/3,720).

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,720/3,890 (Rs 3,720/3,890).
