Sultry conditions prevailed in the national capital today with the maximum temperature settling at 37.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
Some parts of the city received traces of rainfall till 8.30 AM, said a Met department official.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the normal.
The humidity oscillated between 77 and 56 per cent.
The Met office has forecast overcast skies, along with the possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall, in some places tomorrow.
"Moderate to heavy rainfall is likely to occur tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum stood at 29.6 degrees Celsius.
