Sundar re-elected FIDE vice-president

Indian chess administrator D V Sundar was today re-elected vice-president of world governing body of the game FIDE for another term.
Sundar got 103 votes in the elction for vice-president and was declared elected for the post.
He is credited for organising the 2013 World Chess Championship match in Chennai and for cleaning up the over age related issues in India during his tenure as Honorary Secretary of All India Chess Federation.

Bharat Singh Chauhan, the All India chess federation secretary, has been elected as deputy President of the Asian Chess Federation, according to a press release by AICF.
Besides being the father figure of Delhi Chess, Chauhan organises India's biggest Parsvnath Chess Festival in Delhi every January.
