Sunshade falls on construction workers; two die

Two construction workers were killed and a few injured, when the sunshade of a building under construction fell on them at K G Chavadi in the city outskirts, today.

The workers were preparing cement for laying concrete on the floor, when the sunshade, said to be 50-foot long, fell on them, resulting in their death on the spot,police said.

Some workers were pulled out of the debris and rushed to the Government hospital here, police said.

Further investigations were on they said.
