Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle is set to play a singing lighthouse keeper in a new TV project.
The 52-year-old singer debuted in Hollywood last year by playing a church warden's wife Eleanor Hopewell in John Stephenson-directed movie 'The Christmas Candle', reported Digital Spy.
"She's very excited," Boyle's agent said.

The show is directed by Stephenson. Both ITV and America's ABC are said to have expressed an interest in it.
The show filmed a pilot episode in Edinburgh last month.
