Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, who was operated upon for a lung ailment at the Breach Candy hospital here, was discharged this morning, family sources said.
"He was discharged today. He is doing fine," Praniti Shinde, his daughter and Congress MLA from Solapur, told PTI.
He was expected to resume working in five-six days, she added.
Shinde (72) underwent the surgery for a small growth in the lung on August 4.
