Suspension of work at 2 jute mills

The management of the two jute mill has put notice for suspension of work at Kakinara area of North 24 Parganas district on the May day.

The work suspension notices were put up at Kakinara Jute Mill and Nafarchand Jute Mill of the area this morning, official sources said.

Following it, 12,000 workers altogether had been rendered jobless.

The management has cited financial problem for the suspension notices.
