Swarms of bees attack bikers

Bikers today escaped with minor sting injuries when a swarm of bees attacked them near Angara in Ranchi distirct.

The bees stung and chased the bikers for half-a-kilometre till the riders sped away, the police said.

The villagers said the bees from a hive on a tree-top had been attacking cyclists and motor-cyclists, with pillion riders being the worst stung, for some time.
