Security software solutions firm Symantec has appointed Shrikant Shitole as Managing Director for its enterprise security business in India.
Based in Mumbai, Shitole will be responsible for driving growth of the company by developing and delivering on business strategy, Symantec said in a statement.
Shitole takes over from Sanjay Rohatgi who has been promoted to the post of Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan sales for Symantec, it added.
Prior to joining Symantec, he was the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Nelco (Tata Enterprise), and has also worked with Avaya Services and Cisco.
