Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today laid the founction stone for the Raja Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy Educational Campus at Rajendranagar here.
The foundation stone was laid as part of the 149th birth anniversary celebrations of Venkata Rama Reddy, founder of the famous 'Reddy Hostel' here.
"Venkata Rama Reddy was a great officer of his times, a visionary, an educationalist and a doyen among the social reformers," Rao said on the occasion.
To honour Reddy Hostel's historic spirit, Rao allotted 10 acres of land at Rajendranagar for the educational campus and sanctioned Rs 10 crore for its construction, according to the state government's information department.
