Tamil scholar passes away
: Tamil scholar Arivoli died in a private hospital here today following a brief illness.
He was 80, hospital officials said
Born in Sikkal in Nagapattinam district, he had authored 120 books. He is survived by wife and two daughters.
He worked as a professor in Anna University and Poompuhar College and was a debate moderator.
