Taylor Swift set for a royal performance

Country star Taylor Swift has been signed by Prince William and Duchess Catherine to perform at Winter Whites charity gala.

The 23-year-old singer will perform for 200 guests at Kensington Palace for the charity event, reported Contactmusic.

"It is a fantastic occasion and hopefully it will raise a lot of money for Centrepoint," said a spokesperson of the organiser.

James Blunt is also reportedly performing at the event.
