TDP MLC among 3 held for 'forging' documents of govt land

An MLC belonging to the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh was today arrested along with two others by Hyderabad Police for allegedly forging government land documents.

TDP MLC Deepak Reddy and two others- an advocate and a realtor were arrested for "colluding and creating forged documents" of government lands located in different parts of the city in the name of private persons, police said.

The police are verifying on the actual land grabbed through the forgery.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Detective Department) Avinash Mohanthy confirmed the arrest of the TDP MLC and two others.
