An assistant teacher deputed in the Panchayat polls duty here today died possibly of cardiac arrest at Narvar town.
"Assistant teacher with primary school at Tharra region, Shreevallabh Sharma deputed at the panchayat elections voting centre Naingiri in Narvar town died this morning. Sharma felt uncomfortable when preparations before voting were being made at the centre," Tehsildar (revenue officer) Satish Verma said.
He said the body has been sent for postmortem after which the exact reason of his death will be known. Initially, it looks that he died of heart failure.
