Teen boy dies after being hit by truck

A 15-year-old boy died while his friend was critically injured after they were hit by a cement mixer truck in north west Delhi's Model Town area this evening.

The boys were riding a bicycle at the time of the incident, police said.

The truck hit them from behind following which Manoj died on the spot while Mukesh was rushed to a hospital, they said.

The truck driver fled from the spot after the incident.

Police said they have seized the vehicle and launched a search for the driver.
