Teen commits suicide

A 17-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a train on Amritsar-Pathankot railway section of Ferozepur division, police said today.

Apparently upset over the scolding by his father for flying kite and ignoring studies, the teenager took the extreme step yesterday, according to police.

The Class XII student went to Allowal village and jumped before a moving train, they said.
