A teenager was allegedly killed by his grandfather on suspicion of mobile theft in Bilgaon village in Bisanda area, the police said Wednesday.
Dayasagar (15) was badly beaten up by his grandfather Ram Suresh Tuesday on suspicion of mobile theft due to which he died this morning, SHO, Bisanda, Arvind Kumar Singh said.
An FIR was registered in this regard by the vicitm's mother after which the accused was arrested.
The mobile was later recovered under the pillow of the accused.
