Teen's body recovered off Kanyakumari coast

: The body of a 16-year-old boy who allegedly drowned near Muttam beach in Kanyakumari district, was recovered today by the Indian Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard ship 'AADESH' retrieved the body of V Dileep, who had drowned while bathing yesterday, an official release said.

On receipt of information from the Coast Guard Station, Tuticorin, AADESH carried out a search and rescue operation in the Bay of Bengal and found the body this afternoon.

The body was later handed over to the Coastal Security Group, Colachel, it added.
