Teenage girl gang-raped in UP district

A teenage girl was allegedly gang-raped by three youths in Ramgarh area here, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when the 17-year-old girl went to fetch drinking water, and the three youths -- Deepak, Shivam and Brijesh -- allegedly raped her, they said.

Police have lodged an FIR in this connection and detained Deepak and Shivam, while Brijesh is still at large. A probe is on into the case.
