Teenage student hangs self

A 16-year-old student today allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at a hostel here, police said.

"The incident occurred around 5.15 am when the victim, a first-year student of a private college, was found hanging in the bathroom of the hostel at the educational institute," Madhapur Police Station Inspector K Narsimulu said.

No suicide note was found and a case has been registered, he said, adding, the matter is being investigated.
