Teenage student kills himself

A 17-year-old student

allegedly committed suicide in his hostel room at a private coaching institute here today, police said.

M Vinay Kumar, an second-year intermediate student, who was preparing and taking coaching for EAMCET at the corporate coaching institute, was reportedly under pressure whether he would clear the entrance exams, they said.

Kumar allegedly hanged himself in the early hours, police said, adding that the hostel authorities saw his body hanging at 5.30 am.

Saroornagar police booked a case.
