Teenager drowns after falling from boat into sea

: A 14-year old boy drowned off Paraipadi coast in the district today after he fell into the sea from a country boat while fishing.

Other fishermen in the boat made a vain bid to rescue him, police said.

Police suspect the boy may have lost his balance due to strong winds and rough seas.
