Teenager held for rape in Barabanki

A four-year-old was raped by a 14-year-old teenager in Lonikatra area of Barabanki district here, police said today.

The incident occurred on Friday when the four-year-old girl went to distribute sweets with her aunt.

The victim's family members and local residents nabbed the accused as soon as they got to know about the incident and held him captive till he was arrested.

A case had been lodged against the accused, police said.
