A teenage girl was allegedly raped by a neighbour who barged into her house while her parents slept in another room in Chilpili village here, police said today.
A 14-year-old girl was raped by Ramprasad Gurjar (22) after barging into her house late last night, said SP (Rural) Sanjay Shrotriya.
The victim's parents were sleeping in another room, SP said, adding that Gurjar fled the scene after the crime.
The victim was sent for medical examination after her mother filed an FIR with the Jamwaramgarh police station here this morning.
Gurjar's father has been arrested for disturbing the peace of the village after he raised a hue and cry that his son was being implicated in the case, the SP said.
A case under various sections of the IPC has been registered against Gurjar for molestation, rape and trespass, he added.
