Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today cut short his visit to Delhi and returned here following the demise of his elder sister.
On his return, Rao paid homage to Leelamma who died at a private hospital after a brief illness, official sources said.
During his visit to Delhi, Rao met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought Centre's nod for various matters, including transfer of certain defence lands here to the state government for construction of a new Secretariat, they said.
