Telangana: Cong demands all-party meet on irrigation projects

Telangana Congress MLC P Sudhakar Reddy today demanded that the state government convene an all- party meet to discuss issues pertaining to irrigation projects.

The meeting needs to discuss, among others, a project being built by Karnataka allegedly without permission at Raichur and the Pranahita Chevella project in Telangana, Reddy said.

He said he has spoken to Karnataka minister MB Patil regarding the reported project. The Karnataka minister has assured that they would act within their rights, Reddy added.
